Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist who currently competing within the UFC flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as an Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner with a unanimous verdict. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007, an award of bronze in 2008 and then a gold in 2011. Then she was named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thai Champion of 2016 by IFMA. Antonia began her professional career in 2003, and she took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 and the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in the year 2016. Antonina's final fight took place at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She won with a majority. Antonina Schevchenko kicked off career-long MMA profession in the year 2002, with a win over Anara Baanova in the KFK Championships of Kyrgystan. She won the fight via second-round TKO and won her next two fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003, accumulating a record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to focus on the sport of kickboxing. She made her return with a win against Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa via unanimous decision before prevailing over Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She quit the promotion and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina's striking skills were superior and let her TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. In the aftermath of this victory, Antonina was given an UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC in The TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the fight by unanimous decision, but she was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from her loss and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submissions in the 2nd round. The fight was awarded Antonina the Fight of the Night bonus. Shevchenko was victorious in her initial three bouts, but lost the fights to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was recently knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
